“THEY TALK ABOUT WORSHIP HERE” LEAVES THE THESSALONIKI DOCUMENTARY FESTIVAL WITH TWO AWARDS

We went to Thessaloniki, we watched documentaries, and we got two awards!

A journey full of experiences and beautiful moments. We have no complaints, not even one. We received a lot of love, and as our director Byron Kritzas said, we hope that sometime in the future we will be able to return it to you.

The full, sold out, halls on both days of our screenings, really moved us. Your smiling faces, the excitement that was written on your faces as you waited to enter the theatre (and after the screening of course), the tears in your eyes and your beautiful comments is an image we will never forget. And we thank you so much for that.

Your love led us to win the“Fischer Audience Award for a Greek film over 50′“. As Byron said: ” Thank you very much! […] I would like to thank my producer, Marina Danezi, all the people involved in the film, Kore. Ydro. and of course the fans of the band, for giving us this award. I want to dedicate it to the kids who get strength, joy and emotion every day from the lyrics and music of their songs. Bless you! “.

But the biggest surprise was the award of the“Silver Alexander of the Newcomers Competition” to our documentary! We are beyond honoured. The jury was moved by the fervor and revolutionary spirit of the film, which, while focusing on a locally defined story, reminds audiences of the healing and cohesive qualities that art – in this case music – can bring to people of different generations and backgrounds.

A simple thank you is not enough. A huge thank you also to our filmmakers, who contributed to the best possible result!
