Good Friday (in development)

April 1944, Easter Week in Axis Occupied Greek countryside. Seven-year-old Anastasia picks
flowers in the field near her house where the town prison lies.

Several prisoners arrive at the prison gate. One of the Resistance captives smiles at Anastasia right before he is thrown in his cell. Anastasia decides to find a way to offer the prisoner a pretty red poppy. Next day, Anastasia manages to place the flower so that the Prisoner sees and takes it.

However, she is seen by her Nazi collaborator guard uncle and is sent back home. Later that day, Anastasia attends the Mass of Holy Thursday and is appalled by the imagery of the Crucifixion. She runs out of the church where she sees several prisoners digging large holes behind the church yard.
After the decoration of Jesus’ Epitaphios, (tomb) Anastasia goes home and falls asleep only to be awaken at dawn by harsh voices and multiple steps. From her window, she watches all the prisoners, including her Prisoner friend with her flower in his suit pocket, being executed on the spot.

After the Good Friday morning service, Anastasia sees 120 flowers emerging from the mass grave between the church and her house.
