A bittersweet comedy about a middle-aged musician struggling to survive and the two unexpected friendships he forms during a journey across the country.

Thanos is a failed musician who self-mockingly describes his songs as “Greek country.” He lives alone in Athens, works part-time at an old neighborhood record store, and spends his days writing songs and making DIY copies of his demos. His only glimmer of hope is his old friend Antonis, who unsuccessfully tries to promote his work to a major record label.

When everything collapses at once, the rejection from the label, the closure of the record store, the threat of eviction, and a series of personal disappointments, Thanos clings to a small live performance in Komotini. On the road his car breaks down and brings him face to face with the grumpy Kyr Giannis. After a fight that leaves him without a car, he finds unexpected help in Vivi, a tough-as-nails truck driver.

A sudden phone call from the record label gives him one last chance, and the three of them set off on a journey with time pressing. Through conflicts and revelations, the trip turns into an unexpected path toward self-discovery, acceptance, and reconciliation.
